ECH Club is working towards a seminar which include setting up a modern classroom. The classroom will include approach of Reggio Amelia, which is an art studio in Italy, high scope learning corners as well as the Montessori practical life.High Scope learning stations may include block corner and toddler area.
We will follow the principles behind Montessori classroom, which strongly emphasize on self-help skills, as well as integration of different levels between the children.
Tentatively, the seminar would be around 19-21 June 2008.
It will be open to current students, alumni, as well as people in the Early Childhood field.
Guest speakers will be invited to give talks and share their experiences and ideas about related topics.
ECH Club is starting to plan for the setting up of modern classroom, as well as for the seminar.
We hope that it would be a successful and we believe we will learn much from the process of working on it.
