The ECH Club Exco recently helped out at the Freshman Orientation Camp (FOC) 2008. We were engaged in a planning process with the HMSS Exco prior to the camp and we helped in the planning and facilitating of certain parts of the camp, namely the games.
During the pre-camp, our role was to act as facilitators and trainers for the student leaders and briefing them about the games and such. After which, we attended the actual camp where some members of the Exco was to be station masters and the rest to be on call whenever we are needed to help out.
Most of us found a certain memorable moment of the camp to enjoy and we are glad that we attended. The ECH Club Exco also put up a performance named, “The adventures of Giant Daniel” and we had fun performing it.
It was a not too bad experience working with HMSS Exco considering that this was the first time that we were engaged in a formal partnership. We hope that we can learn from this experience and make the next time a much better one.
